Most people complete the test in approximately 40–60 minutes. The time limit for the test provided by The English Center is 70 minutes.

Both sections are required. The test does not assess speaking or writing.
The questions adjust in difficulty according to your answers. This helps the test identify your English level without requiring you to choose a fixed-level examination.

Yes. After completing the test, you can view your results in Oxford English Hub and download your statement of results as a PDF.

Yes. The test we offer is taken online without supervision, so you can complete it from home or another quiet location.
You need a reliable internet connection and a computer with working sound. Headphones are recommended for the listening section.
If you need the results for an institution, check beforehand whether it accepts an unsupervised test.
No. Plan to complete the test in one sitting. Once you start, the timer runs, so make sure you have enough time to finish both sections.
