Job interviews in the Netherlands assess more than whether your experience matches the role. Employers also evaluate how clearly you explain your work, how you respond under pressure, how easy you are to understand (accent), and how professionally you communicate in English.
Our job interview coaching helps you prepare for interviewer expectations. We focus on structuring answers, responding to follow-up questions clearly, and communicating with confidence in interviews conducted in English or in a mix of Dutch and English. Where relevant, preparation may also include refining your CV, cover letter, or LinkedIn profile to ensure consistency between your written profile and your interview performance.
All coaching is private, customized, and role-specific, guided by experienced native-speaker trainers who understand how Dutch and international employers assess candidates.
Start by speaking with a teacher. Your intake appointment is with a professional English Center trainer, not a salesperson. You’ll receive real feedback and practical course advice from the start.
Job interview coaching is structured around your interview context, timeline, and level of skill & confidence in English. After a short intake with a trainer, we focus on the areas that will have the greatest impact on your interview performance.
There is no fixed programme or package to choose from. The coaching is fully tailored to your interviews and professional role. During the free intake, you speak directly with a trainer who assesses what will be most effective and proposes a focused approach.
The coaching always centres on spoken interview performance, including:
Depending on your situation, preparation may involve one or more sessions, spread over a short or longer period. You will receive clear recommendations during or shortly after the intake, based on what will help you perform well — not on predefined packages.
During the coaching, we work with questions like:
In some cases, interview coaching alone is not sufficient to reach the required level of clarity or confidence in English. If this becomes clear during the intake, a short period of intensive English training may be an option – before or alongside interview preparation. This ensures the interview coaching itself is effective.
